Suffolk Holiday Accommodation

Goat Willow Barn

Goat Willow Barn forms the eastern end of the main barn building and is a cosy and characterful home. It is full of oak beams and studwork and very tastefully decorated. Slightly smaller than Old Oak inside it provides comfortable accommodation for a family of 4-6. Four people very comfortably.

It gets its name from the Goat Willow tree that grows outside and adjacent to the small pond. The tree provides a lovely shady area over the lawn to the side of the unit. We love trees at Potash and we think you'll agree it creates a lovely atmosphere.

To the front is a decked area with hardwood table and chairs for dining or just hanging out on lazy days. Goat Willow is like a maisonette, i.e. it has a ground floor and upper floor.

On the ground floor and looking out onto the deck and the yard is a cosy lounge with its own woodburner. It has French doors and windows to the front, and a large window on the east side.

This room leads into the kitchen/dining area. Full of character it is equipped with Stoves range cooker, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer,Microwave, CD/Radio and many quality utensils. We provide large catering quality porcelain as standard as well as a few kiddy plates.

The floors are natural terracotta, and the dining table has an extending leaf.

Cleaning and ironing facilities are provided (if you're so inclined). Because Goat Willow and Old Oak are in the same barn, we provide a laundry room with two washing machines and two driers.

A beautiful oak staircase leads from the kitchen area upstairs to the two bedrooms. There is a twin bedded room and a double-bedded room with brass bed.

There is a separate wc, and hall cupboard, whilst the bathroom has both shower cubicle and double Victorian roll top bath with centre taps. There is an abundance of timber in these barns which is why we have a very strict no-smoking policy.

Just wallow in the comfort of that pure white cotton bedlinen, or enjoy the shower with its balanced water pressure. No fiddling around to adjust the hot and cold all the time. Yes we've all been there. Hot water is instant and there's plenty of it.

This is a great unit. Ideal for a small family, or a romantic weekend.
